But that's not all! To help you get the best results on Instagram, we'll also explain:

  • Why it's in your best interest to plan your Instagram posts and stories in advance.
  • What time is the best to make a post via Instagram.
  • And various Instagram-authorized planning tools, including Facebook Creator Studio, which lets you manage both Facebook and Instagram.

Without further ado, let's get started!

Why schedule your posts directly on Instagram?

Businesses have been begging for scheduling features on Instagram for years.

But why are so many marketers eager to queue up their content? Below are some of the biggest benefits of Instagram scheduled posts.

1. Develop a more comprehensive content strategy

Thought-provoking: Instagram stats highlight that different types of content (think carousels, images, real, Stories and videos) all receive different engagement rates.

Also, brands need to diversify their content strategies and not just post the same type of content over and over again.

When you schedule posts on Instagram, you give yourself time to really evaluate your content calendar.

And when you don't have to rush to publish Instagram posts, you have time to gather the various assets you need to create fresh, engaging content.

Want to spend a few days working on a storytelling post or editing a video? No problem. Your other publications are scheduled in the meantime.

2. Free up your schedule to interact more with your followers.

The programming of Instagram posts can free up valuable time in your schedule.

This means more opportunities to interact with followers and respond to comments.

Even the best Instagram planner can't do the groundwork for building relationships with customers. When you stick to an editorial calendar and post regularly, you can devote more time to engagement.

This is actually one of the great advantages of Boostfluence, which not only allows you to schedule your posts, but also to multiply interactions with your followers. We'll come back to this a little later.

3. Better time management means better quality posts

Think about the effort that goes into each post or campaign.

Edit captions. Retouch images. Finding the right hashtags.

And that's just the visible part of the work that goes into each post.

Editing Instagram posts at the last minute is a recipe for burnout and poor results.

By scheduling posts on Instagram, you can allocate your time appropriately and write more meaningful posts for your community.

As a reminder, the more likes and comments you get quickly on a post, the more likely it is to bring you visibility.

4. Create seamless marketing campaigns beyond Instagram

Your marketing campaigns shouldn't be siloed.

From organic and paid social, to email and beyond, all your channels should be on the same page in terms of creative, landing pages and promotions. This creates a better customer experience.

Through programming your social media posts, you ensure that your posts go out at the right time.

If you use a social media management tool, you can actually synchronize all your channels (think Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and even YouTube) so you don't have to post manually or in real time. This ensures consistency in your content strategy across all your social networks.

5. Encourage collaboration and brainstorming

Once again, planning encourages brands to start working on posts well in advance.

This means marketers and their colleagues have time to brainstorm over the best captions and creative visuals.

Useful for both social teams and marketers looking for feedback from customers or influencers, Instagram collaboration and scheduling go hand in hand. Coupled with a media approval process, it's child's play to get multiple opinions on your content before it goes live.
