Getting the URL of your Instagram page can be interesting for many reasons. Perhaps, you want to link to a particular Instagram publication from your page on your website, but don't know how, or maybe you want more people to know about your new logo design on social networks, and therefore share your page.
Whatever you want to use your Instagram URL for, you can effortlessly get the URL for specific publications as well as for your entire profile on Instagram. Here we detail each method: on IOS, on Windows, via web browser or mobile.
The good news is that you're not limited to getting a URL from your own Instagram profile on the social network. You can also obtain the Instagram account URL of any profile'even if the account is private.
For the latter, this is surely no great surprise, as just because you obtain the URL of a private profile doesn't mean you can access its publications, and after all, that's the whole point of a private Instagram.
What's more, you can also get the URL of'an Instagram post - both for your own posts and those of others.

To get the'Instagram URL from a post, you first need to access that post.
As such, this means you can't retrieve the'URL from an Instagram post if an account is private. Because if you can't access it, you can't take the URL of a post.
On the other hand, if you follow the private account, you'd expect to be able to access its posts and thus get the URL of posts that have been shared. But if this were possible, the whole point of having a private account would be lost, so it's not possible.
There are three link options on Instagram, which are as follows:

1 - Open the profile you want to get the URL for. Open its profile and press the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
2 - When you press the button in the top right-hand corner (the icon is different on Android and iPhone), another menu appears. You'll have 6 options. The options are:

Select "Copy profile'URL". This will copy the Instagram profile URL of the account you're visiting, whether it's yours or someone else's.
1 - Log in to Instagram, go to the photo or video whose Instagram URL you want.
2 - When you've found a photo or video, press the button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3 - After clicking on the dots, a new menu will appear'with a few options. All you have to do now is click on "copy link".
Once copied, post links can be shared wherever you like. On other social networks, on an email, on WhatsApp or anywhere on Google.
As you'd expect, obtaining an Instagram URL from a desktop computer is even easier than using the app since'a link is clearly visible in the search bar. That's why this option is to be favored for retrieving a link from the social network.
To get the URL of'an Instagram profile, whether private or public, go to the account, then click on the URL that appeared in your search bar. Now right-click on it and select "copy".
If you want to copy the link from'an Instagram post, simply go to the post whose URL you want to get, click on the URL in the search bar, then copy it.
From Google, however, you can get the Instagram URL from posts that have been shared by private accounts too. The catch'is that if you give the URL to an Instagram account that doesn't follow the private account, they won't be able to see it.
When you press "Copy Link", whether you copy the Instagram URL from'an Instagram post or from'an Instagram profile, the link will be copied when you press copy link.
Now you've copied the Instagram URL, which means you can paste it wherever you want. You didn't have to go digging through the code and can now paste this link into a post or onto anchor text on your blog.
Getting a link/URL for your own Instagram profile is actually very simple.
Why? Because all Instagram profile URLs follow the same template.
The template for an Instagram url is: https://www.instagram.com/username.
Simply copy this URL:
Then add your username's. You now have the link to your own Instagram profile.
In addition to this, you can use the Instagram profile as a business card when you are a designer or business entity.
You can add a clickable link in your bio Instagram like a site link present on Google. This makes the profile effective and helps boost your Instagram engagement.
Of course, Instagram users to whom you copy post or account links aren't notified. So you're free to paste those links wherever you like on Google, no one will know.
